Join us for an evening of powerful storytelling and reflection as writers Tara Coyt, Anita August, and Charles Stephens share how their work has been shaped by the life and legacy of James Baldwin. The event will be moderated by cultural critic Cinque Hicks and takes place on Tuesday, June 17, from 6:00–7:30 PM at the Auburn Avenue Research Library in Atlanta, Georgia. Each writer will read a short excerpt from their recent work and take part in a thought-provoking conversation led by Hicks, exploring Baldwin’s ongoing influence on contemporary literature and their own creative practices.
