You don’t just walk through exhibits—you walk through eras. From the Civil War to Civil Rights, it’s a full-circle moment.
MUST-SEES
The Swan House – Baby, if these walls could talk… they’d whisper elegance and old money tea. Perfect for photos and pretending you’re the main character in a period drama.
Turning Point: The American Civil War – A sobering but necessary walkthrough. Heavy, but powerful.
Cyclorama – 360° of history. Dramatic. Big. Unexpected.
Black Citizenship in the Age of Jim Crow – Raw and real. A must-see. You’ll leave changed.
Historic gardens + trails – A soft life stroll if I’ve ever seen one. Go in the spring, bring water, and wear flats that still look cute.
PAYMENT
They take cards. Tickets run about $25 for adults, and it’s worth every dime.
Pro tip: They have free days and discounts for Georgia residents and students. Look that up before you go.
PARKING
Free lot. Easy. You ain’t gotta fight nobody or parallel park in heels.
